Before you email The Cooler Lounge here are a few things you need to know:
All shows are 21 and over no exceptions.
We have bands on Mondays, and Wednesday through Saturday nights. On Sundays we have dj's and freestyle mc battles etc. Courtesy of the spitfire lounge. On tuesdays we have dj's spinning all kinds of styles, courtesy of the flizm flozm crew.
Bands that wish to book a show need to know the following:
There is only payment to bands, that play on Friday and Saturday night shows. Bands split the door on the weekend only.
For shows during the week, there is no donation cover charge at the door. Shows are free. So if your band wants to earn a few dollars for gas fare etc. You can sell your merch and retain 100% of the take, we can ask for $ donations for gas over the pa. Generally this works best.
The only time this changes, is when we have an outside promoter etc. Bring in an act during the week, that commands a guarantee. Then we make arrangments for a door man to collect donations and check id's.
